Isidro Betancourt 

Board Member

Isidro Betancourt is a Cuban-Spanish musician, born in Havana, Cuba. He was a member of the award winning Cuban National Choir, Schola Cantorum Coralina and famous Cabaret Tropicana, among others. He has lived in Spain since 2006, graduating in Lyrical Singing at the Superior Music Conservatory of Vigo. 

 

He is currently enrolled on the Master's Program in Hispanic Music Research at the University of Valladolid, specializing on the life and works of Cuban born composer and musician of Spanish-German origins, José Manuel “Lico” Jiménez Berroa.

He has published a compilation of Lico Jimenez’s work and is editing two further volumes, in conjunction with the Spanish publishing house Dos Acordes. 

 

He is the director of the documentary film, Lico Jiménez; the Ebony Liszt, which is currently in production. He combines his research projects with his professional roles, as manager of the musical events company Grupo Insieme, choir director and singing teacher at the Mayeusis Conservatory in VigoImagen.

Joshua Diaz Zambrana

Co-Founder and Board Member

Joshua Alexander Diaz is a High School student in his Junior year at NSU University School. He is a percussionist who started playing at age three and has not stopped ever since. He continues perfecting his passion by playing some of his favorite instruments connecting him to his Afro - Cuban roots. These instruments include: congas, bata, bongos, cajon, and shekere. Although he enjoys listening to salsa, jazz, son, and bachata his favorite music genres are rumba and guaguanco.

Isis Zambrana

Founder and CEO, Zambrana Music Foundation

Isis Zambrana is a healthcare professional with a passion for philanthropy, community engagement, and the arts. 

Isis is the Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety and Chief Quality Officer for the Jackson Health System (JHS). During the height of the COVID pandemic, she served as the JHS spokesperson for English and Spanish language TV commercial campaign, “Keeping You Safe at Jackson” and was the recipient of the 2020 Hispanic Women of Distinction Award.

This award recognizes distinguished women of Hispanic ethnicity who have made a significant contribution to the community while maintaining their culture and traditions.  

 

Isis is the past-president of the American Heart Association, Greater Miami/Fort Lauderdale Metro Board. Her contribution in serving on the board lies largely in wanting to ensure the AHA mission to be a relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives is achieved by being in service to the community. Isis is also a member of the Board of Directors for the Lovewell Institute for the Arts.

Jonathan Ingram Zambrana

Co-Founder and Board Member

Jonathan Ingram Diaz is an active bassist and music educator in South Florida. Since earning his Master’s degree in 2021, Ingram has been playing in various orchestras throughout Florida while also playing with various local groups in the Miami area. Along with having a strong love for playing music Jonathan also has a strong passion for educating. In addition to teaching bass, Ingram has many students on guitar and violin as well.

Jonathan earned his Bachelor in Music from Florida Gulf Coast University, Bower School of Music, and his Masters in Music from the University of Miami, Frost School of Music.

Anita Hoffman

Board Member

Anita Hoffman is a Los Angeles native, and has lived and worked in several major US cities and abroad. Her professional expertise ranges from 10 years of experience in the non-profit sector to working in the fields of health promotion, and media.  

Anita has served on the Board of Directors of the Malibu Chamber of Commerce, where she Chaired the Marketing & Branding Committee and founded Malibu's Young Professionals Network. She also served on the Board of Advisors for UC Santa Barbara’s Women in Leadership executive continuing education program.  

Anita holds a Bachelor of Science degree from New York’s New School for Social Research, a professional certificate in Executive Education from Stanford University Graduate School of Business (LEAD), and is currently in her second year of a MSc/MA dual degree master's program studying Global Media and Communications at The London School of Economics and University of Southern California.

Camille Safiya 

Board Member

Camille Safiya is a world renowned Artist with roots originating in the Caribbean. She is an abstract painter and musician with an evolutionary spirit that honors the Ancestors as well as the future generations to come. Her band, The Futurelics are sacred keepers of the flames for the musical legends that came before them. Safiya’s passion for nature, community and family is at the forefront of her creativity.

Randi Gold Kanarish

Board Member

In the vibrant world of broadcast media, Randi Gold's two-decade legacy radiates innovation and leadership. Esteemed for her strategy, Randi seamlessly unites multi-disciplinary teams, fostering success across diverse platforms. As the EVP-Operational Excellence & Chief Publicity Officer of The Blue Zones Center, Miami, and Co-Chair for the Global Wellness Institute's Connecting Wellness & Lifestyle Medicine Initiative, she's at the forefront of the well-being evolution. A masterful storyteller, Randi highlights change-makers with unmatched journalistic rigor. Dubbed a "Super Connector", her extensive network demonstrates her mastery. 

Key to campaigns like the American Heart Association’s PSAs in South Florida, she’s a pivotal media figure. Randi's heart lies in serving the community, particularly championing diverse and underrepresented voices. She's committed to timeless narratives, especially relating to healthcare, community, and the arts. Balancing content curation, earned media, and community outreach, Randi ensures sustained mission and brand integrity. Merging organizations’ ethos with mission objectives, she's not just a media pillar but a transformative luminary, always seeking collaborations to nurture future community education.
